What is RTC-C?

The Right to Counsel – Cleveland Program (RTC-C) gives Clevelanders facing eviction living at or below the federal poverty line with at least one child the right to free legal help in Housing Court.

What does RTC-C mean for tenants?

RTC-C provides legal help to Cleveland tenants facing eviction so those tenants may stay in their homes or locate better housing, stay out of emergency shelters, and keep their children in school.

How does RTC-C work?

If you think you could use legal help through RTC-C, please contact Legal Aid immediately. A quick screening will be done over the phone, on-site at Legal Aid’s offices or through the 2-1-1 chat box/phone number.
